HOW PRO-X WORKS

From specification to tested system.

PRO-X is a built-to-order specialist. We agree the requirement, choose the most appropriate build route, test the completed system and remain your point of contact throughout.

THE PROCESS

A straightforward route from enquiry to delivery.

Reference systems are a starting point. Your quotation confirms the specification and, once accepted, components can be sourced specifically for your order.

01

Tell us what you need

Start with one of our reference systems or describe the application. We review processor, memory, storage, graphics, networking, specialist I/O, rack depth and other relevant requirements.

02

Specification & quotation

We check compatibility and provide a quotation against an agreed specification. No online payment is taken simply for requesting a quote.

03

Build route selected

Your system may be built directly by PRO-X or fulfilled using one of our selected build partners. We choose the most appropriate route for the specification, component availability and any specialist requirements.

04

Assembly & testing

Before dispatch, completed systems are tested using PassMark or equivalent diagnostic and burn-in software appropriate to the configuration. Specialist systems may receive additional testing relevant to their intended application.

05

Delivery

Where practical, systems may be delivered directly by PRO-X staff. Where direct delivery is not practical, we use a suitable courier service. Delivery arrangements are confirmed with the order.

06

Support & warranty

PRO-X remains your point of contact. Technical help is available by email or telephone and, where appropriate, remote assistance can be arranged by appointment. Complete systems include our standard 12-month collect-and-return warranty unless otherwise stated.

OUR BUSINESS MODEL

Specialist systems without a retail showroom.

PRO-X Systems operates using a virtual office model and does not maintain a public retail premises, showroom or customer collection point. Orders, quotations and technical enquiries are handled remotely by email or telephone.

This model allows us to concentrate on specification, sourcing, assembly, testing and support while using the most appropriate build route for each project.

ONE POINT OF CONTACT

PRO-X stays responsible for the customer relationship.

Whether a system is assembled directly by PRO-X or through a selected build partner, PRO-X remains your point of contact for the order, delivery, technical assistance and warranty support.

If an exact component becomes unavailable, we will contact you before making any significant change to the agreed specification.

CANCELLATIONS

Built specifically for your order.

PRO-X systems are built or configured against an agreed customer specification and we may purchase components specifically for your system once an order has been accepted.

If you wish to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible. Once sourcing, assembly or configuration of a bespoke system has started, cancellation may not be possible, particularly where specialist or non-standard components have been purchased specifically for the build and may have limited use elsewhere.

Where cancellation is possible, we will explain any costs already committed to the order before confirming the cancellation. Nothing in this information affects any statutory rights that apply to you as a consumer.

REMOTE TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Help without immediately returning the system.

Where appropriate, technical assistance can be provided remotely by appointment. With the customer's permission, remote access may be used to assist with diagnostics, configuration or troubleshooting.

Remote access is only initiated when agreed with the customer and is not permanently enabled as part of the standard system configuration.

12-MONTH WARRANTY

Collect and return as standard.

Unless otherwise stated on your quotation, complete PRO-X systems include a 12-month collect-and-return warranty. If inspection or repair is required, collection may be arranged directly by PRO-X staff or through a courier depending on location and circumstances.

The warranty covers hardware faults arising under normal use. It does not cover accidental or physical damage, misuse, unauthorised modification, software problems, viruses, data loss or faults caused by equipment or accessories not supplied as part of the system.

DATA & BACKUPS

Please keep important data backed up.

Customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of their data. Diagnosis or repair can sometimes require software to be reinstalled, storage to be replaced or a system to be restored to its original configuration.

Individual components may carry longer manufacturer warranties. Where applicable, we can advise on available options after the initial PRO-X warranty period.
